At Green Realm Travel we have embraced the principles of “Kaitiakitanga.”
This Maori phrase is a uniquely New Zealand way of saying guardianship, care and protection. The principles of kaitiakitanga stress the importance of looking after natural and cultural resources and land for the collective benefit of people living now, and for generations in the future.

Eco Friendly Tour Coaches
Our custom built luxury coaches are at the cutting edge in terms of comfort and environmental standards.
Green Realm Travel selected the eco-friendly MAN A67 Euro 4 coach chassis to build our luxury Coaches on due to their leading edge technology that reduces fuel consumption, exhaust-gas emissions and noise. The strict Euro 4 emissions standards are upheld worldwide as the leader in environmental emissions benchmarking and due to the particle filter system the engines are arguably the cleanest diesels in the world.
To ensure that our Coaches are kept at peak efficiency with minimal harmful exhaust emissions Green Realm Travel volunteers to be regularly tested by Vehicle Testing New Zealand (VTNZ) and has recently been given their 5 star rating as operating the lowest emitting tour Coaches in New Zealand.
We have left no stone unturned when it comes to reducing the carbon footprint of our escorted tours, from on-board re-cycling bins so our passengers can separate their plastics, glass and general rubbish, through to double tinting on windows which keep the coach cooler and take workload off the air-conditioning unit.
All this combined means Green Realm Travel’s coaches are the amalgamation of excellent design, maximum safety, an all-encompassing eco focus and superb relaxation for our guests.
